Anxy No. 2: The Workaholism Issue - by Anxy Magazine

20.00 25.00

“Work isn’t just what we do—it’s who we are. But when does hard work stray into something addictive, controlling, and dangerous? We decided to investigate the realities of work in an issue filled with personal experiences, brave interviews, striking photography, and creative work.”

The second issue of Anxy explores the balance between working hard and working compulsively. Our signature mix of personal stories, photo essays, and reporting features Neal Brennan, Talia Herman, Malissa Clark, Amanda Rosenberg, Preston Gannaway, Kenneth R. Rosen, Kübra Gümüşay, and more.

”Anxy is a beautifully designed magazine about our inner worlds—the ones we often refuse to share, the personal struggles, the fears that fool us into believing that the rest of the world is normal and we’re not.

Each issue uses a central theme—“loneliness” or “boundaries”—to build an original, insightful, and creative perspective through interviews with folks we admire, personal essays, reported features, visual stories, and recommendations for what to read, watch and download to round out the conversation.

We launched on Kickstarter in 2016, raising money and support from hundreds of people who feel the same way as we do. Now we've created the magazine that dives into the real stories of how we live. This isn’t your therapist’s scientific journal. It isn’t some self-help manual. And we aren’t telling you how to “fix” an issue. We are Anxy. Aren’t you?”
